Greenville Homeless Alliance Updates Homelessness White Paper
The Greenville Homeless Alliance has released the 2019 Report on Homelessness in Greenville County. The report, which is an update to the original 2015 Homelessness White Paper, compiles different definitions, data sources, and perspectives on homelessness; offers a big-picture overview of homelessness in Greenville County; and outlines five key strategies to achieve the Alliance’s vision of safe, affordable homes for all. More than 70 organizations and 100 individuals, including men and women previously or currently experiencing homelessness, contributed to the report through listening sessions, interviews, and discussions.
The purpose of the report is to provide a deeper understanding of individuals who are experiencing homelessness and ways the community can help make that experience brief and rare. To learn more, visit https://www.gvlhomes4all.org/reports.
