Leake Family - Habitat for Humanity home dedication

Welcome Home, Leake Family! 


Habitat for Humanity of Greenville County recently dedicated its fourth home in the Joshua's Way development in the Sterling neighborhood.

Joshua's Way is a collaborative effort by the City of Greenville, Habitat for Humanity and Homes of Hope and will ultimately add 13 affordable housing units to the community. 

Public Input Meetings for 2020-2025 Consolidated Plan   


In order to receive federal funds, the City must submit a five-year Consolidated Plan to the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development. As part of the planning process, the City is hosting two public input meetings to give citizens, service providers and partner agencies an opportunity to discuss community needs and help create a unified vision for the City's community development activities over the next five years.

Wed., March 18 | 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. 
Sears Recreation Center, 100 E. Park Ave. 
*Drop-in meeting with no formal presentation.

Nicholtown Neighborhood Association Community Garden Grant   


Congratulations to the Nicholtown Neighborhood Association, which recently leveraged Grant Assistance Partnership funds and received an Ellen Hilderbrand Memorial Grant for $4,235 from the Greater Greenville Master Gardener Association for their community garden.
