  1. 2023 Greenville City 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb

    The Greenville City 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb is an annual event that honors the FDNY firefighters and first responders who selflessly gave their lives on September 11, 2001. Participants climbed the equivalent of the 110 stories of the World Trade Center. This fundraising event benefits the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation (NFFF) to support the families of local fallen firefighters and the FDNY Counseling Services Unit.

    First responders. Continuing care team. The Greenville City Fire Department has an Opioid Task Force. The three member team was introduced to City Council this week. Each team member brings special skills and personal experience to assist them with overdose calls. They will also follow up with survivors to help them with the root cause of their addition.

    The recall involves Kidde TruSense Smoke Alarm & Combination Smoke/Carbon Monoxide Alarm. The recalled units are Kidde Model Series 2040, 2050, 2060 and 2070 Smoke & Combination Smoke/Carbon Monoxide alarms. Model number is printed on back of the alarm.
