Richland Creek Emergency Bank Stabilization

In early 2016, the City was forced to close a parking lot and the adjacent road shoulder on Lakehurst Street in Cleveland Park due to severe bank erosion along Richland Creek. The restoration project used innovative techniques, including the creation of geolifts, to mitigate erosion. Learn more about the Richland Creek project

Cleveland Park Stream Restoration

A city project completed in 2016 stabilized severely eroding streambanks and reconnected approximately 500 feet of a Reedy River tributary with its floodplain, to promote water quality improvements in the area of the park between Woodland Way and Woodland Way Circle.
